The Margarita pizza with pesto sauce was delicious, and we loved it. We also got a tuna and walnut salad on the side, which was delicious and we devoured it all. It's a boutique establishment. The interior is quiet, and when their main business is pizza, the result is delicious. Highly recommended.

Delicious pizza, very good price for the area. We spent 15 euros for a large pizza, two bottles of water, and table service for two (because we ate inside). The service was also very good; we almost sat down to eat at the pizzeria next door, but they didn't make an effort to serve us kindly, which they did here.

We gingen net buiten het drukke toeristische centrum op zoek naar iets om te eten en vonden dit pareltje. De locatie is misschien niet de meest gezellige maar de vriendelijke bediening, prijs en vooral goeie pizza's maken dat meer dan goed. Het deeg en de saus is wat een goeie pizza maakt of kraakt en dat zit hier perfect. De gele tomatensaus is overigens een aanrader. Zeer lekker. Het enige kleine puntje van kritiek is dat onze Pizza's helaas net een tikkeltje te ver (verbrand) waren.

01/11/2025: A truly beautiful osteria nestled in a truly beautiful village. All the dishes were excellent. I'd say I've never had such a good tiramisu!
30/10/2025: Fantastic meal in a great family restaurant. Duck ragu was a highlight of a trip on which we ate very well. La Toppa is a great reason to visit San Donato in Poggio!

19/10/2025: While visiting Florence, I went to this restaurant for my birthday. We had a delicious Florentine steak, it melted in our mouths. Special mention goes to the girl who served us, who recommended an excellent Chianti Riserva to pair with the meat. Very good.
