The food and the price are good for Milan. The service is very poor, they work hard to clear the tables as soon as possible and they barely give you the service. They throw things on the table and run.

Historic place on Via Palermo, it offers many typical foods from risotto with ossobuco to braised meat. The pizza by the slice is top, exceptional!!! Filled generously if desired. Friendly friendly staff. Excellent for a nice evening with friends.

Good evening, I've been going to this place for more than 15 years and I must say that the food is always good but recently the owner's decision to change some things has really disappointed me and I don't know if I'll go back again. For example they removed many things from the menu and increased the prices and then there are no longer the legendary blackboards hanging on the wall with the menu. I honestly don't understand the change given that the place was always full of people and there was no need to change anything, now it has become a banal place like others in the area which is a shame. I hope the owner changes his decisions so we can go back to eating many good things as before.

Simple place, with marble tables where several groups can sit. Great for a quick lunch. Traditional menu as well as good pizzas by the slice and salads. Honest prices. Very efficient service.

Ristorante situato in una zona centralissima di Milano raggiungibile con ogni tipo di mezzo di trasporto. Menù abbastanza ampio. Consigliata la pizza che viene servita al trancio. Porzioni molto ricche e possibilità di richiedere una porzione abbondante. Costo della pizza nella norma. Servizio veloce e personale super cortese. Consigliatissimo!

23/12/2024: Came for lunch and did not feel very welcomed by the servers, but the host was very kind to us. The Osso Buca was delicious, but I was not amazed by the risotto and other dishes we ordered.
22/12/2024: If you want to dive into the "al matarel" tradition, this is for you! From the moment you enter you understand that everything has remained where it should have remained in order to guarantee an authentic and good restaurant! Greeted by two smiling young people, they made us sit down, after a few minutes we had menus, water and a basket of bread at the table! After ordering, the dishes arrived: generous portions, home-made flavours, piping hot and served as you would expect from a restaurant of this type. Tourists, families and couples who already knew the restaurant or who wanted to try it! Well done, you won me over! I'll be back! I recommend it! Ps. They are very strict when booking but it is well described on the site!

Trattoria Aurora

03/01/2025: An excellent trattoria to enjoy classic Italian food, prepared with good work and good products. The pasta dishes are great, but the fish and meat dishes are very poorly prepared.
01/01/2025: A hidden gem. We got there by chance, because the nearby museum was still closed and we had to kill an hour waiting somewhere. Very tasty refined food, excellent service, friendly atmosphere. We will come again.
