Pizzeria Giovanni Santarpia In Firenze

If you're craving a real pizza, this is the place to be. At Santarpia, you only get pizza—there's no restaurant—but you always leave satisfied. Unfortunately, despite all the awards it's received for its quality, the place is always crowded and noisy. Sometimes, even if you want to talk to your neighbor, you have to shout to be heard. The staff is qualified. The prices are reasonable. Parking is easy to find in the area. It's always best to reserve a spot.

Everything was delicious, the parmigianella was a spectacle, octopus bites were truly excellent, not to mention the spicy one which was out of this world, super good💯💯 top!!!!!

Good pizza and appetizers, friendly staff, the only flaw was that there were three of us but the third pizza arrived after 20 minutes, they need to coordinate better.

Highly recommended! Delicious pizza, sunny and welcoming staff. Even though we arrived at closing time, they welcomed us with open arms and a genuine smile. Go there!

Best pizza i ever ordered. The people who work here are the nicest persons you will meet in Firenze. Not expensive and absolutely the best experience. Tip: try the rooftop bar but don’t forget to reservate a table. It’s worth it!

Great service and suuuuper good food. We had the octopus as starter, a pizza and the cheesecake dessert and were really happy with our choice, although all the other dishes coming by also looked fantastic.

Very good pizza, the best among all the pizzerias in the center of Florence. Now a fixed point to eat real pizza. Both the waiters and the pizza chefs are friendly. Truly everything is excellent

5 Stars – A Slice of Heaven in Florence! I had the pleasure of dining at Pizzeria Giovanni Santarpia during my trip to Florence, and it was hands down one of the best meals I had in Italy. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with that cozy, authentic Italian charm you hope to find in a local spot. As a starter we had Bocconcini di Mare, so delicious bites. The pizza? Absolutely phenomenal. The crust was perfectly thin and crisp on the outside while still soft and chewy inside – clearly made by someone who knows their dough. We tried the La Caterina which was bursting with flavor and made with incredibly fresh ingredients. Small wine list but seems the wines are carefully selected. We tried the only one roze in the list and was exceptional. Service was attentive and friendly without being overbearing. If you're in Florence and craving pizza, Pizzeria Giovanni Santarpia is an absolute must. It's a place where the passion for food shines through in every bite. I’ll be dreaming of that pizza until my next visit!
