Pizzeria El Sombrero In Como

Fast service, delicious and variety of food and polite staff. I’ve been to this place for dinner 5 times now while staying in Como and cannot recommend more highly as a place to eat in or have as take away.

Warm and welcoming place. Very friendly staff, delicious pizza! The tables weren't crowded together, there was a baby changing table in the bathroom, and we had no trouble getting around with the stroller. Excellent value for money.

Everything at this restaurant was excellent, from the service and the wine they recommended to the portions and the price. It's the best ham and cheese pizza I've ever had (no picture), and the calzone in the photo was so delicious I didn't expect it to be. It's a proper Italian restaurant and offers great value for money. If you go, keep in mind that the portions are family-sized, and you absolutely must visit if you're in Como.

The place, slightly outside the center, is certainly well-kept. You can see that whoever runs it isn't just for the money, but that they love what they do. In particular, the place has passed the most difficult test in my opinion: the bathroom cleanliness test. I personally believe that if a public place has clean and well-kept bathrooms, then everything else follows. It should be noted that I visited this place at 9 pm, so not at the beginning of service when it is easier to find the bathrooms in excellent condition. Therefore, I can personally say that my review is only positive for both the quality of the environment and the quality of the food received. I think the bill could have been five or ten euros less than what I paid, but unfortunately, Como is a very expensive city these days, and honestly, I have paid much higher bills for a quality and quantity that is absolutely inferior to what I received last night. I personally will recommend this place.
