Pizzeria Donna Stella In Amalfi

Pizza and atmosphere were good. Service not so good...

Excellent pizza. Overpriced of course as is everything in Amalfi. Nice terrace. It was very busy but the service was still quick.

The pizza and salad were very, very delicious. The pizza dough was cooked really well. The small beer was really small (0.2). The prices seemed a bit expensive to us but maybe it's normal for Amalfi.

We were trying to find a spot slightly away from crowdy center of Amalfi and that has good reviews. So we found this place through Google Maps and went there. I will definitely say that it was enjoyful experience. First of all, tables are under lemon tree and in lemon garden, it was beautiful and perfect ambiance. Secondly, service was very quick and food was prepared moderately quick. I took Margherita and my gf took "Peggy" (which is clearly tourist pizza😅). But man, I have eaten maybe 200 pizzas in Italy and that Peggy was one of the best ever. Margherita was delicious but not on my top Margherita list. Prices were higher than your usual pizzeria prices, but considering touristy location and taste, definitely worthy. In general, I absolutely recommend it.

The atmosphere is rustic yet elegant, like dining in Nonna’s garden with a wine list curated by angels. The fried zucchini flowers are a must—light, crisp, and quietly life-changing. The pizza is charred perfection, with a base so good it deserves its own passport. Pair it with a chilled local beer, and you’re living your best lemon-scented life. Service? Warm, attentive, and just cheeky enough to make you feel like family. Finish with the tiramisu. Or don’t—just order it anyway and thank me later. In short: If Amalfi had a heart, it would beat under Donna Stella’s lemon trees. 10/10. Would cancel other plans to return.

We had a great meal under the lemon tree. Everyone was eating a lot of Teddy Pizza, so I tried it and it was delicious!!!

A very cozy and friendly place, away from the hustle and bustle of the main street, but still close to it, with excellent pizza and lemonade. The lemon arbor provides adequate shade even in the hottest weather. Friendly and fast service

While exploring Amalfi during our Amalfi Coast tour on March 31, we were on the hunt for a gluten-free lunch spot—and found the perfect place in Pizzeria Donna Stella. It’s a bit hidden and easy to miss, but the short climb up a steep flight of steps rewards you with a peaceful lemon grove overhead and a tucked-away setting far from the bustle of the main square. It had just rained, so most of the charming outdoor seating was too wet to use, but the cozy indoor space was just as inviting. I ordered a gluten-free pizza, which was delicious and safely prepared—a rare and welcome find for Celiacs in the region. If you're in Amalfi and want something quiet, scenic, and gluten-free, Donna Stella is a must.

Un encantador restaurante familiar con buenas vistas sobre la costa de Amalfi. Pizzas muy sabrosas con ingredientes frescos y un servicio amable. Lo recomendaría.
