I discovered it by chance and, out of necessity, showed up at 10:00 PM. The waitress was friendly and professional. Excellent pizza, both in terms of dough and toppings. I'll definitely be back. Highly recommended.

The tastiest pizza of our Italian vacation. A lovely traditional atmosphere and a very friendly waitress. Everything is just right here, and you feel very comfortable.

The best pizza we've ever eaten! We come here several times a year during our vacation and can't get enough of the pizzas at Dietro l'Angolo. Everything is just perfect here! It's best to make a reservation in advance, because everyone else knows that this is the best pizza place 😉

We arrived today and, after searching Google reviews, found this pizzeria. Despite not having a reservation, we managed to find a table, which we consider a miracle considering how many people were there. 😱 The service was incredibly friendly. We waited about 15 minutes for our pizza. It was delicious. 😍 We'll definitely be back for the calzones because they impressed other customers. 🙃 For two pizzas, a beer, and a water, we paid €23. Ideal. 👌

29/09/2025: We arrived by motorbike in August. It was quiet and relaxing, and we ate wonderfully! The mountain view is priceless.
19/09/2025: Beautiful, peaceful location, wonderful stay, friendly owner, and a superb chef. We stayed here for five days. We'll definitely be back.

17/10/2025: We stopped for lunch on a Sunday. The staff were friendly and helpful, welcoming us even though we hadn't booked. We had a very good appetizer and a truly excellent main course. The price was adequate for the quality offered and still reasonable in absolute terms. The restaurant is located in the narrow streets of a small medieval village, but it still has ample and convenient parking. The premises are spacious and well-maintained.
11/10/2025: Locanda Gavarini is a trusted source of quality and exquisite cuisine, from traditional appetizers to a selection of cured meats, from Chicchere della Nonna (Grandma's Chicchere) to the unsurpassed Parma Black Pork with potatoes and chestnuts, and from the ever-changing and spectacular desserts. The carefully restored and carefully maintained ambience complements the experience, along with the impeccable and courteous service. Prices are more than reasonable.
