A historic gem in San Martino delle Scale This restaurant, opened in 1953, retains all its traditional charm. Giovanni, the owner, was simply adorable, as were all the staff: welcoming and friendly. Fresh fish, authentic dishes, and an authentic, heart-warming atmosphere. Definitely worth a try!

I've known this place for about fifty years...and it's remained unchanged over time, just as it once was...authentic cuisine, a welcoming atmosphere, quick and attentive staff...skilled hands have always run the place with passion, and it shows. It's a lovely place to be, both winter and summer...the location is charming...the bread, biscuits, and desserts retain the ancient flavors of the past...very digestible pizzas...abundant and well-prepared first and second courses...quality and expertise always pay off...worth trying...

The prices are high for the type of food served and the service. Dishes are overpriced, above the Palermo average. I didn't like the meat served with baked potatoes that were definitely defrosted, cold, tasteless, and floury.

Historic trattoria/restaurant that dominates the square of San Martino delle Scale. Present since 1953, and in fact the years are all visible, never renovated, surely this is also its winning move. Warm and welcoming environment, pure trattoria decor, without frills. Comfortable outdoor garden. Good pizzas, while for the rest of the menu, I do not feel like recommending the fish. The staff is really kind, always smiling and ready to fulfill the requests of the diners. Obviously ample parking, given that the square is located in front of the restaurant. Prices ok, very popular. Another strong point is the climate, in summer going up to San Martino enjoying a few degrees less, is a panacea. Reservations recommended especially on weekends.

I had lunch with my boyfriend: parpardelle with wild boar ragù! Really good, a very filling dish! I often go here for a coffee with friends or for bread! They have both classic bread and pizza bread.

A visit to this place is definitely worth it, in the hills above Palermo. Wonderful food with a very good selection and excellent service.
