09/05/2026: I too went because of watching Michael Portillo. Great seafood risotto, but too much rice. Sadly the QR code to get English menu was out of date and I couldn’t have the seafood ravioli I wanted. Shame building works and close proximity to the road and traffic reduced my stars. Also waiting staff not very good at understanding English, my problem as I don’t speak Italian. But we’ve come to expect to be understood! But overall great fresh seafood would recommend it. Lots of locals eating there always a good sign.

08/05/2026: If you want to experience thr "Real" Sicily then a visit to Trattoria da Piero is an absolute must. We found it by accident when wandering off the main street and boy am I glad. While not the biggest fan of fish , my wife loves fish, but you know what , it was amazing. I went for the Paccheri with swordfish and Tuna and it blew me away. The whole meal was amazing abd excellent value. Think fresh home cooked meals cooked by an excellent chef. Do yourself a favour, go there , you will not regret it.
