08/03/2025: My wife and I don't eat meat or fish, and since it was Wednesday, therefore a fairly quiet evening, the owner went out of his way to provide us with a trolley of vegetarian appetizers.
Result... EXCEPTIONAL!
Fried artichokes, very high quality stracciatella with pistachio, radicchio and smoked scamorza, grilled vegetables, amazing turnip tops, cardoncelli mushrooms, local olives cooked as per tradition and to finish, a delicacy called chiacchiere with smoked scamorza.
Very high quality pasta and pizza and I tried the basic dough, let alone the others.
Delicious porcini mushrooms, difficult to find such quality at that price.
For dessert, a nice Ciccio with Nutella, which is a worthy end to a dinner that made us feel like two princes.
Very fast and attentive service to remove empty plates.
Definitely excellent value for money.
I don't understand the previous reviews that complain about slow, inattentive service and the rudeness of the owner, who instead is a very kind person and always available to make the customer happy.
I can imagine that things on a Saturday night might be slightly different, but even if you go out to eat a pizza on a Saturday night, like hundreds of other people at the same time, consider having a little patience and respect for those who are working to make you have a good evening.
I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who follows a vegetarian or vegan diet.
The only precaution is to point this out at the time of booking so that the staff can prepare as best as possible.
