Pizzeria Dante In Firenze

There are better places in Florence.

A pizzeria by the river I went there just after 5pm on a Saturday, and there were only about three groups of customers, so it went smoothly. Maybe it was because there weren't many customers, but the atmosphere was calm and relaxed. The menu was easy to understand, with Italian on the left page and English on the right. Since I was in Florence, I ordered the Fiorentina pizza. I also ordered something that was labeled Grilled Sausage in English. I think it's Salsiccia. It was like minced meat when opened, but it was delicious. The saltiness was just right, but adding the olive oil on the table gave it a different flavor that was delicious. I also ordered two glasses of wine, and the total came to 42€. I went in without doing any research, just because I saw the Pizzeria sign, and it turned out to be a hit! The view of the Ponte Vecchio from the bridge nearby was also a great memory. Thank you for the meal.

Simple place, excellent food and attentive service.

We stopped by chance for a family meal... and frankly, we weren't disappointed. We ordered two rib-eye steaks Florentine style, with potatoes on the side, and a charcuterie platter as a starter. A complimentary specialty was offered as a starter, which we appreciated, as well as the four complimentary vanilla and chocolate cream puffs at the end. However, the final bill surprised us; they charged us for carafes of tap water, which isn't cool, and it would be nice to be informed about this. We're tourists, but don't take advantage of them; remember, we're supporting your businesses. Also, the cutlery charge for four people, as we had our children with us, added 33 euros to our bill. This isn't fair, and it would be good to be informed. A lack of transparency?! We've eaten in Rome, Venice, and Pisa, and none of them charged us for this, except for the water, which was bottled, not tap water. 😊 As for the interior, it's simply magnificent, we loved it... despite the language barrier, a waitress who spoke a little French made our evening very pleasant, the owner came by regularly to check if everything was alright.

Excellent restaurant. I've been coming here for years. I like it because the staff is always friendly and polite. The food is very good. Mohamed's pizza is special!

A typical Tuscan restaurant in the center of Florence, just steps from the train station. Excellent food, below-average prices, and friendly staff. A generous and beautifully presented Tuscan appetizer accompanied by two types of focaccia (red and white), excellent house wine, and a slice of steak with arugula and parmesan cheese, which I highly recommend. A great experience.

A friend and I arrived on a Monday evening to get a takeout pizza. They greeted us with immense kindness and offered some homemade cookies. Fair prices and excellent pizza!
