The property is entirely family-run. I'll start with the head of the family, Ivan, who is incredibly helpful and always eager to please his guests. His wife, Raffaella, is equally attentive to her clients. Eddy, the receptionist, is incredibly kind. I honestly don't know who anyone who's written otherwise in a review has spoken to me. The rooms are practically on the beach; you step outside and you're under the umbrellas. You leave your car in the free parking lot adjacent to the property and practically forget about it. The town center/seafront promenade can be reached via a small road. Of course, there's always room for improvement and attention to detail, but I think the quality/price ratio is more than fair. Let's move on to the food/restaurant: I've read reviews from people who were perhaps expecting a 5-star luxury and gourmet experience, but perhaps they forgot that it's a beach resort. Certainly—and I say this constructively—some prices could be adjusted on the menu, but all in all, there's the option of eating almost anything. Mistakes can happen, but we were impressed by the very family-friendly atmosphere and the owners' great willingness to accommodate any needs or unexpected issues. We will definitely be back. I had a wonderful time at Lido del Poggio. It's a truly beautiful, well-kept, and welcoming place, ideal for relaxing and enjoying the sea. The staff is excellent: always kind, helpful, and attentive to guests' needs. The restaurant also offers impeccable service and a pleasant atmosphere. I highly recommend this place and will gladly return.
