I had read conflicting opinions about this historic pizzeria and so I wanted to judge for myself. Friday lunch, few customers, retro but in my opinion charming atmosphere, courteous and fast service. The pizza is excellent, deep but crunchy unlike Spontini's which I frequent weekly. Quality, quantity and prices definitely better than the latter. Giuliano absolutely recommended.

I have been frequenting this historic pizzeria in Milan for years every time I am in Milan, delicious pizza by the slice, I highly recommend it, one of the last Italian bastions in an area full of Chinese (oriental) restaurants that are absolutely worth trying.

Historic pizzeria in Milan in via Sarpi. Here pizza is served by the slice, the tall one, rich in mozzarella with a crunchy bottom and cooked in a pan. Pizza that survives various fashions: ultra-fine, crunchy, soft, Neapolitan, etc. Here they know how to do it and you come for that, if you want there are various dishes such as lasagna, tortellini etc. Highly recommended.

First time I tried Milanese pizza and I was pleasantly surprised, nice and tall with stringy mozzarella and at the same time crunchy at the base. Quick and courteous service.

16/02/2025: Proven restaurant, active since 1956. Simple and welcoming environment. The slice of pizza and tiramisu are good. Acceptable prices. You can find a table without booking.
