Pleasant location and friendly, attentive service. The food and drinks are generally okay. Exception: the "Spaghetti Carbonara." It's served here with diced cooked ham and without guanciale, something I've never experienced in Italian restaurants with this dish.

An authentic gem in Venice!!! Just steps from the city center, Ristorante La Colonna is a peaceful oasis, perfect for relaxing after long walks. The restaurant is intimate and has a small, truly welcoming outdoor area. ​The wonderful welcome from the owner Antonio and his waiter makes all the difference: impeccable and warm service. The traditional Venetian first and second courses are rich in excellent, authentic flavors. ​Unbeatable value for money for Venice. Highly recommended!

We stopped by on our way to check in to our hotel and enjoyed a very tasty lunch. Spaghetti with clams followed by grilled sea bream paired with a bottle of their house white. Just great!

Far from the hustle and bustle of St. Mark's Square, La Colonna restaurant drew me in with its peaceful garden. The menu is varied, from seafood pasta to Italian pork chops with steak fries and T-bone veal 😋, as well as my beloved tiramisu. The delightful elderly owner personally looks after all the guests, which is truly commendable. As a farewell, we had to say goodbye with limoncello, and we had a truly wonderful evening. I highly recommend it!

18/03/2026: A pleasant discovery of this place. Very nice and clean atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Food with unique and high-quality combinations. The only "negative" thing about the dish I ordered (which was super good) was the chopped pistachios, and unfortunately I found five pieces of shell between my teeth... it can happen, but I thought it was right to point it out to the waitress. 2 pieces of advice, if I may: - Check the plates (the dessert plate was chipped and sharp). - Near the counter, there was a knife-cut ham... well, given what we've been hearing on the news lately, I recommend using a pointed knife so everyone doesn't have to use it. I hope you don't take this as criticism, but as constructive advice for improvement. 😚 Anyway, try this restaurant because the food is excellent, and I'll definitely be back! Thanks!
