I dined here alone, in the evening, around 8:00 PM.
The pizza is tasty and plentiful, even the regular version. I opted for a Margherita filled with spicy salami, porcini mushrooms (which were on the menu but weren't available), and parmesan cheese.
The service was fast and punctual, perhaps even a little too fast: I had the feeling they wanted to send me away as quickly as possible. I had asked for a bottled Coke, but they only had cans.
Otherwise, I didn't appreciate the fact that the waiter, with the room practically empty, assigned me a table (10 cm away) with two other people who were also dining. But what honestly bothered me most was the unstable nature of the plate on the table: every time I cut the pizza, I had to juggle it with one hand to keep it from slipping. I understand that setting the table with a tablecloth costs money, etc. etc., but paying €14 for a Margherita with only four slices of salami, 15 canned mushrooms (champignons), a sprinkling of grated Grana Padano, and a can of Coca-Cola doesn't seem like a small amount to me. I think a little more attention should be given to the customer.
That said, everyone has their own conclusions. I strongly recommend reconsidering at least this last aspect (the unstable plate). Having a plate that moves around on the table while trying to cut the pizza isn't a pleasant experience for a customer who wants to enjoy 30 minutes of relaxation and enjoyment.
Finally, I'd add that the dough isn't very light, so anyone who has trouble digesting carbohydrates would be wise to avoid this place.

Exceptional pizza by the slice, authentic, genuine atmosphere. Very friendly and helpful staff. The pizza chef is a true professional.

Historic restaurant, good pizza, friendly staff, but in 2025, the lack of an adequate air circulation system is unacceptable, especially since the only thing left to do after leaving is go home or to the dry cleaners, because you can't walk around with the smell of fried food that gets on your socks. It's also unacceptable that after decades of business, they haven't noticed that the knives provided to customers aren't made for pizza, and in general, they don't cut well. Pizza knives have a special serration, but here it's impossible to cut them.
