The pizza has crispy edges. I've been here several times and highly recommend it. The disadvantage is that there is a 2 Euro table fee and it is close to the train station. It is crowded at night, so be especially careful of Italian thieves 😂

INFORMAL PLACE, EXCELLENT PIZZA 👉 Pizzeria Da Filippo is located in Pisa, in front of the Central Station, in the square of the same name. 👉 The place is informal, apparently a simple pizzeria by the slice, very popular with Pisan citizens and tourists in transit, in reality it hides a reserved room in the back part of the restaurant, where it is possible to dine with table service and first and second courses . 👉 Being a quick dinner, we opted for pizza with beer or Cocacola, in my case a classic Quattro Stagioni and cecina for everyone 👉 The pizza arrived well cooked and with a very crunchy base as I like it, on a plate that held the heat, making it pleasant until the last bite. 👉 The same positive feeling was also found by colleagues, who tried the Mexican one, a calzone, the typical Pisan pizza, a vegetarian one. 👉 The cecina was also well cooked and decidedly good. 👉 The table service was very friendly and smiling, done by young, friendly guys with a clear desire to work well. 👉 I will return for dinner in the short term, because I was intrigued by the Amatriciana pizza on the menu and so I will come and try it.. 👉 The prices are quite cheap, as: cecina, pizza, medium coke, coffee and limoncello, with table service, I spent 16 Euros.

It wasn't as good as other pizzas I ate in Italy, even though it was a sliced ​​option. I found the lady serving to be a little rude, mainly because I didn't speak Italian and she didn't have the patience to answer my questions. But anyway, it's cheap and close to the train station, as well as being quick. So, if you're passing through, it might be worth eating there.

Ci siamo stati per cena. Pizzeria senza fronzoli. Servizio molto cordiale e veloce. Pizza in teglia: particolare, non la solita pizza, a me é piaciuta molto. Prezzi onesti. Super consigliato. Vicino alla stazione.

Vicinissimo alla stazione, quindi molto comodo, pulito ed accogliente. La pizza davvero buona, ma la cosa migliore è stata senza dubbio vedere il sorriso di tutte le persone che ci lavorano, questo fa davvero la differenza. Complimenti al cameriere Alessio, simpaticissimo e professionale e a tutto lo staff, purtroppo in pochi hanno capito che l’accoglienza e il sorriso sono il 50% del lavoro. Assolutamente consigliato!
