Pizzeria Da Filippo In Pisa

Looking for local specialties, I was recommended Pizzeria da Filippo for typical Pisan fried pizza and cecina. Okay, done! I decided to order and have it delivered. The downside was the wait, which was longer than advertised, but that's understandable. I obviously can't rate the atmosphere. Service 5 because I had a problem with the delivery and they fixed it very quickly and without any issues. I ordered the Margherita pizza (it's the pizza you should order to rate a pizzeria) and the cecina. Very good pizza (the tomato sauce was excellent), and the cecina too (but I don't have a comparison here). Excellent for quality/price/filling. Recommend it? Yes. Would I go back? Yes.

Truly excellent pizzeria restaurant, the service was impeccable thanks to a very kind, attentive and customer-focused guy. While we were waiting, he kept bringing us focaccia, a truly appreciated gesture. The pizza was one of the best I've ever eaten, unique and different from the usual but truly delicious. There were four of us and we ordered two pizzas and two main courses, the main courses were also excellent. The final bill was €60, excellent value for money, a place to definitely return to, highly recommended, pizza absolutely worth trying.

A historic place, as everyone says! It's worth visiting at least once. Or more!

We got it to go; one pizza cost about 8.5 euros, and it was delicious! 👍🏻👍🏻 The crust was really good. The only downside was that they didn't have pasta for dinner, only pizza.

Very good pizza, in the few days I was in Pisa it was the place where I definitely ate well.

I stopped near the train station for a bite to eat and ended up at a pizzeria frequented by locals. The pizzas were freshly baked and smelled delicious, but the staff weren't very friendly, and the service charge wasn't cheap.

A cozy place near the station, offering not only pizza but also excellent main courses and vegetables. Recommended.

I've been going to Filippo's pizzeria for many years and the pizza is always excellent!

Not just a pizzeria, but also a trattoria, at least for lunch at Da Filippo, a stone's throw from the train station. We had to wait a bit for the first espresso, but the pici with zucchini were worth the wait. The veal cutlet with mushrooms, while tasty, was a bit tough. The service was polite and courteous, and the price was fair. We'll definitely return to try the pizza, since while waiting for the pici, the traveler devoured the basket of pizza bread, which was truly delicious and fragrant.
