We went to Andrea in Perugia to try the 50 euro per person tasting, attracted by the many positive reviews and the idea of ​​a different gastronomic experience than usual. Attracted above all by the many awards received. I must say that, unfortunately, the expectations were not fully met. I am not usually one to dwell too much on prices, but in this case the cost seemed excessive compared to what I had tried and in comparison with other tastings done in pizzerias of a similar or higher level. The raw materials are undoubtedly quality, a lot of attention to detail but overall the experience was not memorable. Among the proposals tasted, the pan with scarola really stood out - well made, tasty and with a nice play of consistencies - and the Romana "Lucifer", which I found balanced and with a nice character (rather spicy). Another pizza that would have been very good was the Tramonto but unfortunately the guanciale was not felt at all, it would have been a great boost giving the right flavor. The tiramisu was also appreciable, but everything else was a bit subdued. The service was excellent: professional, attentive but not intrusive. The location was also very beautiful, well-kept and welcoming. Overall, an experience that I wouldn't call negative, but that personally didn't leave the mark as I had hoped.
