Pizzeria Capasso In Napoli

Very tasty dishes, even the quantity was AMAZING! The price? Truly better than anything I'd seen in Naples and the surrounding area in two days!! My compliments also to the staff, it's clear that attention to detail is very important to them. We had a truly wonderful time (4 hours at the table), the food was delicious regardless of the choice. We'll definitely be back, the place is perfect in every way... the kind of place that makes you feel AT HOME 🫠🎯 I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.

This is the third time I've been to this pizzeria....very good and inviting looking pizzas, clean and quiet place, the people who work there are kind and attentive to the customer.... congratulations 👏👏👏

A super positive experience. We ate there for lunch today and the service was 10/10. Super fair prices and quality food. I highly recommend it ❤️

A bit slow from one course to the next, at least on Sundays. I don't know if that's the problem. Good food, fairly competitive prices. I recommend avoiding holidays if you want a quieter meal.

Decent restaurant...but for the amount spent per person you can't expect anything...the service and atmosphere are also poor.

Excellent value for money, the food is good and fresh, water and soft drinks included in the fixed lunch, the place is a little dated but the spaces are fine - the ventilation should be changed a little as the windows do not open like vasistas (tilting) - Internal parking at the restaurant entrance - easily accessible from the main road.

My compliments! Unbeatable value for money! Never eaten like this for just €20, even with a second course of fried fish! Not to mention the service and hospitality of the place, you are number 1… compliments for everything

Alla vigilia del Maggio dei Monumenti ai turisti italiani e stranieri che affolleranno la bella Napoli dò un consiglio spassionato. Non perdetevi la Pizzeria Trattoria Capasso una delle più antiche della città, un' istituzione ai piedi della porta più antica della città , Porta San Gennaro, sormontata dal bellissimo affresco di Mattia Preti da poco restaurato. Fino ad una decina di anni orsono campeggiava la figura iconica e impenetrabile di Don Vincenzo, decano della pizza e depositario e custode dei suoi segreti E il regista Jonh Tuturro immortalò l' immagine di Don Vincenzo in una ripresa della durata di una canzone nel famoso e bellissimo film "Passione" dedicato alla canzone napoletana. Ora figli e nipoti ne perpetuano l' arte di pizzaiolo emerito. A lui è dedicata la Don Vincenzo, pizza ripiena di scarola e provola, una vera delizia ( mi raccomando da dividere in due altrimaenti non potreste assaggiare altro!). Altra Pizza da non perdere è la Centobelli che associa la bontà del Ripieno con ricotta e cicoli alla celeberrima Margherita distesavi sopra. E ancora la Pizza Fritta imperdibile a Napoli( come andare a Londra e non aver passeggiato per Ranger Street la sera), la Marechiaro (con i polipetti) e la Capasso( con zucchine, pomodori secchi e provolone del Monaco ingrediente tipico di questa regione unica nel gusto) Mi raccomando.. ..dividete tutto per un trionfo di sapori. Per quanto concerne le proposte della trattoria invece piatti di mare!! ( spaghetti con vongole lupini di mare, cozze ) Senza se e senza ma!!

Good restaurant worth going to, not expensive prices, we paid 25 euros each for a complete lunch with dessert and coffee. I recommend 👍
