Truly a nice discovery. Here you have the opportunity to try the characteristic Bari cuisine. I recommend the spaghetti all'assassina (they are spicy), the orecchiette with chop and the ciccio (a sort of focaccia with pizza dough). Absolutely affordable price, service is a little slow.

📍 Local located in Via Re Manfredi 6, in the heart of the old city. 🍽️ The business has some outdoor seats that can be used during the summer and a good number of seats in the internal room. 👥 The staff present is very welcoming, knowledgeable and professional. 📝 The menu (available on their website) is wide enough for all courses. There is also a wide choice of drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. 🍖 Hot appetizer consisting of two hot terrines: potato gateau and delicious terrine (speck rolls with cream, mozzarella and olive oil). The portions were served at the right temperature and both were fabulous. 🍝 The spaghettone with prawns and pistachio cream was very good: the spaghettone was cooked just right and the combination of the two condiments is the strong point of the dish (more than enough portion for one person). Spaghetti all'assassina simply fabulous: perfectly cooked spaghetti, spicy in the right doses, excellent sauce, right quantity, also present burnt spaghetti (which in my opinion characterizes the assassin) and above all served hot. I haven't had such a good killer in a long time. 🍕 I've had the opportunity to try the pizza in the past, and I didn't find any faults: for those who love thin, crunchy pizza like they make in Bari (but not too much) it's the perfect place. The condiments used are tasty and above all fresh. 🍰 They serve classic restaurant desserts, such as soufflé, tiramisu and panna cotta. Simply good, nothing else to add. 💸 As for the price, I can confirm that I think it is slightly lower than the city average (€50 for 2 people for potato gateau and delicious terrine, bread, spaghettone with prawns and pistachio cream, killer, half a liter of wine, water and soufflé chocolate). 🔍 Overall I can say that it is an excellent place in terms of value for money. I have been there several times in the past and will certainly return as soon as possible. Highly recommended.
