25/05/2025: An osteria that makes you leave the table with a smile. All the products are very fresh, there is no trace of frozen. The menu is vast, and consists of country dishes made with local products and a lot of care.
We had a complete lunch, from appetizer to dessert, tasting a bit of everything.
After the excellent platters, with cold cuts, cheeses, vegetables in oil and some fried food, we tasted the first courses. All the pastas are homemade, and each shape can be paired with any sauce on the menu. My ravioli with ricotta and nettles were excellent, as were the gnocchi alla bolognese and, most of all, I appreciated a soup of seasonal vegetables and meat, delicious without hesitation.
For the second course, I had a grilled sausage with chips. Chips also fresh and not frozen, delicious and plentiful. Perhaps among the best I have ever eaten.
Excellent rating also for the desserts, fresh and homemade. In the photo, the "Porcino dolce", in honor of the mushroom tradition of Cusano Mutri!
