09/2025: Having already been to this pizzeria three years ago, I was hoping to find the same atmosphere, the same welcome, and the same quality of products. Unfortunately, apart from the waitress's smile, nothing was really there. The decor remains cute, but both the quality and the welcome have deteriorated considerably. I no longer recommend the place. 11/2023: It's not easy to find a pizzeria in downtown Aosta, and even more challenging is the task of finding a good one without a long wait. Well, you can go to the Belvédère with your eyes closed! The welcome is friendly and efficient, the service is fast and very good, the pizzas are good, and the pasta is absolutely divine. Despite an ideal location and a beautiful terrace, it's far from a tourist trap restaurant. You can go there with your eyes closed.

If you have the boss at your service, it's great. I was able to eat what I wanted even though it wasn't on the menu. Top notch.

We chose this restaurant by chance, while walking, and it was a very positive experience. Good food, impeccable service, and friendly staff. I highly recommend it.

Good wine, after all, not frizzante. The seafood mix, foccacia, and pizza were very good. The carbinara was a bit of a letdown. Overall, it was very good.

We have been here two times, two families together and always very satisfied. The teenagers appreciated the milanese cotolet and the parents differet kinds of pasta, pizza, fish or local dishes. The owner may seem a bit annoyed at first sight, but do not get discouraged.

La Grotta Restaurant

08/03/2025: We ate here twice during our visit to La Thuile. The first occasion was as a party of ten including of two families with four teens. We had a reservation. The room is bright and modern in an older setting, very comfortable. The dishes were pizzas, pastas and meat. All was very good and well received. The pizzas were quite large that the teens could not finish them but were given boxes to take them home. On the second occasion it was just two of us and we did not have a reservation. We saw that they were very busy and were giving people wait times for availability. But as there was only two of us, the owner (?), and older gentleman, offered us two stools at a countertop. This was perfect for us as we only intended on pizzas. We really enjoyed the food and wine and the casualness of sitting at the bar. Recommended…but make a reservation.
16/12/2024: Locale situato in pieno centro a La Thuile. Ambiente accogliente, servizio veloce e cordiale. Menù con prevalenza di piatti valdostani di buona qualità. Prezzi nella media
