Very disappointed by some completely unjustified comments that criticize a lot of things, I can say without any restraint that we ate great food there and with excellent service from Daniella. If it is true that the owner lacks a little empathy.....surely due to some customers with zero tolerance, it is a highly recommended restaurant. We will return without any restraint, as much for the porcini frito...as the fried seafood and the pasta. Again, bravo bravo bravo

We chose this restaurant during a day in Aosta, and I must say that it was a very very positive surprise. The Roman-style pizza is delicious, thin, crispy and filled excellently, the dish of seafood-flavored scialatielli was a plate full of mussels, clams, prawns and crab. My wife declared herself extremely satisfied. I honestly can only recommend this restaurant. Everything was really perfect, Score 10!

I was there last summer 2024 I only ate the pizza and I must say it was excellent!!! Perfect service and a good tiramisu, if you go to Aosta and want to eat a pizza go there!!!

A quick stop at the pizzeria Le Belvédère in Aosta. Friendly welcome in this pizzeria where you can have lunch on the terrace. Simple and typical menu with very reasonable prices. Count around 10 euros per pizza. Fast service. The plate is good. The boss was nice to us. A good memory from Italy.

La Grotta Restaurant

08/03/2025: We ate here twice during our visit to La Thuile. The first occasion was as a party of ten including of two families with four teens. We had a reservation. The room is bright and modern in an older setting, very comfortable. The dishes were pizzas, pastas and meat. All was very good and well received. The pizzas were quite large that the teens could not finish them but were given boxes to take them home. On the second occasion it was just two of us and we did not have a reservation. We saw that they were very busy and were giving people wait times for availability. But as there was only two of us, the owner (?), and older gentleman, offered us two stools at a countertop. This was perfect for us as we only intended on pizzas. We really enjoyed the food and wine and the casualness of sitting at the bar. Recommended…but make a reservation.

03/02/2025: We managed to blag a table here as we hadn’t booked but the staff were lovely and squeezed us in. Our issue was we didn’t order the right thing - we saw hamburgers and felt the need for a carb-less dinner, but really we would have been safer sticking to the Italian dishes! (The hamburger didn’t have a bun for example but the waiter did tell us this but we stuck with it anyway). I wish I’d ordered the pizza. Drinks wine and price were all great and I would go back!
21/01/2025: Sosta veloce pranzo prima di accedere alle Terme . Cercavo un posto carino dove poter pranzare e con una buona scelta e quindi ho optato per questo bellissimo locale. Molto bello come stile montano ma curato , con tanti piccoli dettagli che lo rendono rustico ma elegante. Personale molto gentile e professionale , non abbiamo potuto volutamente gustare piatti più prelibati che ho visto passare ( non parliamo della polenta concia...che gola) dovendo poi andare alle terme la scelta è caduta sulla pizza . Per essere precisi la valdostana ( mozzarella cotto e fontina) una piacevole e gustosa pizza . Dall'impasto molto ben fatto agli ingredienti di qualità Sicuramente da provare con più tempo a disposizione ma un locale che merita di tornare !!
