This historic pizzeria is nicknamed "the morgue" by the people of Trastevere and Monteverdi because of its marble tables. Service is fast, and the pizza and "telephoned" supplì are excellent.

The pizza was super delicious! We passed by every day and saw the restaurant was packed with people and had a line, so we decided to go on our last day in Rome. It's a shame, because if we had gone sooner, we definitely would have gone back more often!

If you love waiting forever, then this is definitely the place for you, the pizzeria is incredibly popular and always packed, so getting a table can easily take an hour or more. That said, the prices are amazing for what you get, especially in Rome.
The important thing is choosing the right pizza. Some options are much better than others. I personally ordered a pizza that wasn’t very flavorful, but my partner got the calzone and it was honestly excellent. So the experience really depends on what you order.
Overall, the food was good, the atmosphere was lively, and the value for money is hard to beat, just be prepared for a long wait.

Perfect for what it represents: 1980s Rome. Classic Roman thin pizza, a casual, homey atmosphere, and low prices. Worth a visit.

We were recommended this place by some Argentinians and it didn't disappoint. The food was good, but what we appreciated most was that they're open late and, above all, Antonio's excellent service. It made our experience a 1000000/10 🫶😊
