Pizzeria Ai Due Forni In Cortina d'ampezzo

The best pizzas I've had in Italy so far. The place is very small, so you have to order takeout, although there's a bench by the door where 2-3 people can sit even if it's raining. Four slices of pizza and a Fuze Tea for €14.40. Not bad. I would have eaten another slice just out of greed 🤤.

Amazing pizza crust - light, crispy but not too much. If I knew any Italian I’d ask about their dough. Sauce, cheese, toppings are very well proportioned. They even got a very respectable plain tomato slice. As a NYC pizza snob this as close you can get to NY slice greatness on this side of the Atlantic anyone can expect. Very little leoparding on the undercarriage which makes this so unusual. Very interesting toppings options not common in the US like tuna and corn. Staff is not too friendly if your Italian doesn’t go far past ciao and grazie but I respect that. Would definitely come back.

This was the pizza we were searching for. Light, crunchy and just enough sauce and cheese. Was disappointed by other pizza spots in Italy but this made up for it. The fact they sell slices is the cherry on top

Three visits, different tasty slices each time. Generous portions and beer make it a great spot. Always satisfying and worth visiting again. Photo for one day.
