We loved everything about our meal here. The small dish of bread soaked in sauce that was served when we sat down was delicious and such a great way to start the meal. There were so many appealing items on the menu, but on that day my husband and I were in the mood for just spaghetti with red sauce, which we hadn’t had yet in Italy. It did not disappoint. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable about the wine. It’s always a testament to an establishment when you see the locals frequenting it, which they did here.

Osteria very well located in Siena, but far enough from Piazza di Campo to be quiet enough from the tourist bustle (at least in autumn). Both the service and the food have been excellent, the ragu soup very good and opinions like the pea soup to "come out" of the pasta.

I went there after reading the reviews. It's somewhere between incredibly delicious and average? It's clean. They're busy, so I can't really tell what's going on, but they do everything they can. The price is average, neither cheap nor expensive. There's a seat charge per person. 3.50? Two of us paid 7 euros. I went there for spaghetti because of my mom.

Exceptionally good! Homemade sobrassada and pastas were our highlights. Very good wine recommendation and service was perfect.

In mezzo ai mille locali di Siena che offrono cucina tradizionale questo locale si distingue poichè alza l'asticella in termini di qualità degli ingredienti e cura del prodotto finale. Il menù non è troppo ampio (cosa positiva) e propone piatti della tradizione ma leggermente rivisitati oltre ad altre proposte meno usuali. L'ambiente è con non troppi tavoli e con uno staff davvero cordiale. Ci si sente a casa e fuori dalla confusione. I prezzi sono giustamente superiori a quelli di una normale osteria.
