Pizzeria 2001 In Trieste

Great food; great prices. Twice as much food for half the price than the previous evening in the busy centre. Everything was delicious. The pizza was perfect, the gnocchi was melt in your mouth and the meatballs were plentiful. The service was quick and polite. We were the first people in for dinner so not much atmosphere but that's not the restaurant's fault; we prefer it quiet anyway. Would recommend to anyone visiting Trieste.

very local place definitely not for tourists our first time but both pasta we tried was incredibly good (pasta carbonara and fusilli saporiti) totally recommendable ☺️

The best amatriciana I've ever had, without a trace of exaggeration!!!!! We also had tortellini and a spaghetti with radicchio. One dish better than the other!

Without a doubt, the best option we could have chosen for a meal in Trieste. The carbonara was unbeatable and the prices were affordable. The only thing was that it was a little warm inside the restaurant, but everything was still great.

Small place, big surprise! Don't let the size fool you, the pizza here is truly exceptional. The dough is light and fragrant, the ingredients are very fresh. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and tasty pizza in a cozy and familiar environment

Great, authentic cuisine! The best gnocchi I've ever had! And they helped us with the kids and the stroller, as the tables are typically close together.
