It's not just lunch... it's an emotional experience... a mix of pizza tastings and old-fashioned pasta and chickpeas, in a peaceful setting and served by very kind people.

The food was okay, the waitress provided good service, and the atmosphere was so-so. The pizzas weren't great; they don't seem to have high standards for their products, but I can't say they were bad either. They could definitely improve.

I grew up eating their white pizza with mortadella, and in 25 years the quality hasn't diminished. Despite expanding the menu to include traditional Roman hot dishes, the pizza remains one of the best in Rome: crispy, just the right amount of salt, with many thoughtful and truly excellent options. In my opinion, the quality of the pizza is recognized even by the simplest pizzas, and their pizza with zucchini and marinara romana are among the best I've ever eaten.

We had a great time, it was worth the short walk from the Piramide metro station. The staff was incredibly kind and generous, and they even offered us some delicious freshly baked tart :) We tried a little bit of everything, and the pizza was excellent. Recommended for anyone who wants a great Roman pizza.

This was the most delicious pizza I have ever eaten in my life. If you want to taste real Italian pizza, make sure to stop by Luigi. Thank you to all the staff of this restaurant, and especially to the kind gentleman who served us. THANK YOU FOR THE BEER! 😄🍺
