The best pizza by the slice in Verona hands down.... For 30 years always number 1 there are people who travel even 20 km for this pizza

Let me start by saying that I love this pizzeria by the slice. But the experience the other evening made me lose my mind.
I go to get gluten-free pizza and ask what flours are used.
I am not celiac but I am allergic to corn/wheat and I made this known.
The lady who was serving me, after going to check the bag, replied:
Wheat and buckwheat.
Apart from buckwheat, wheat only has the name, given that it is not a grass and therefore has nothing to do with wheat allergy.
But above all when I asked: “how can there be wheat if it is for celiacs. Is it gluten-free wheat?”
I was given shrugs, like: boh!
More than the fact that I wasn't able to eat the pizza (peace and amen, I know that not everyone uses corn and rice flour), I was annoyed by the misinformation and not being able to answer simple questions. Among other things, it is the responsibility of a person who does that job.
The lady at the counter may not have been a pizza chef, but working in a pizzeria you absolutely need to know the basics and information. Also for customer safety.
For the rest, the pizza is really very good (I know this because I ate it before discovering my wheat allergy).
A little more training wouldn't hurt. That's all.
Full speed ahead! I will definitely go back to get pizza for my partner and my son

Good experience in this pizza by the slice, where we ended up one evening exhausted from hunger...
Parking is not very convenient, I went around the block three times to find it, immediately at the entrance there is a counter with all the pizzas available and the staff was kind and courteous in explaining all the flavours.
Fast service and very kind staff, that evening there were many free tables to stop and eat, clean bathrooms.
Gluten-free pizza in an aluminum pan (costs €14 and can be filled with a maximum of two flavours) of good quality, light and tasty; they also told me the normal pizza was good.
Average prices, the gluten-free one a little expensive.

Very good pizza by the slice. Wide choice of doughs and toppings. It is always possible to have it garnished with ingredients of your choice. Friendly and competent staff. Possibility of takeaway or eating on site. I've been going there for at least 15 years and have never had a bad experience. Keep it up!
