Great local spot with amazing Florentine Steak. Don’t go to more touristy sports if you want real good Italian cooking. Could not recommend more.

We went on in our tour of Florence it was a preset menu of bruschetta, lasagna and red wine. Was probably the best lasagna I’ve ever had.

We came to this place because a tour guide in Florence recommended it to us. The service was very friendly, and we didn't have any problems with that. The guy who served us was very nice, but the food, I don't know, was pretty average. It wasn't very expensive either, and we can't complain about that. In fact, the steak was the cheapest I've seen in Florence, and it was definitely delicious, but we didn't really like what we ordered.

Wonderful Florentine steak, perfectly cooked, with spectacular rosemary potatoes! But my companions ordered carbonara, and it wasn't the best they've ever eaten… the rest of the service was very good!

We loved it here, great service and yummy food! My partners steak was well cooked and the potato ravioli was so good - we ordered a second plate. The chocolate salami dessert was the perfect amount of rich!

15/05/2025: Located in Plaza de la Santa Cruz, it has a terrace overlooking the beautiful Basilica of the same name. A very nicely decorated place with very friendly young people serving. We sat on the terrace for a few beers and a rest, and ended up having dinner after seeing how good the sandwiches we were serving looked. They have several taps of beer, so we took their advice, and it was a good choice. The three sandwiches we had for dinner were very good-sized and delicious. The price of the sandwiches is more than reasonable for what they offer. A very good option for a leisurely dinner with a good view.
29/04/2025: We had cocktails that were more than generous in quantity!
