Pizza Alta In Bergamo

A great accidental discovery last Monday. Fast service despite the busy schedule, and very friendly staff who offered us an unexpected slice of pizza. Excellent pizza by the slice, so lucky to have found them!

Ordered takeout, arrived piping hot. Margherita is always a sure thing! As for pizza by the slice, it's definitely the best in the area, and they even gave us an extra slice!

Luca's excellent deep-dish pizza is a must-try in Bergamo. I recommend booking because it's very popular, even during the week. You can't eat in, but they do offer delivery. One small issue is the lack of parking in front of the pizzeria, but you can put your hazard lights on and go if you can't find anything nearby. My favorite is always the Margherita, which currently costs €4.50 a slice and €30 a pan; the deep-dish ones are €5/€5.50.

I've been eating Luca's Pizza since I was little because my grandmother lived a few hundred meters away. Living outside Bergamo, I've often taken my bike specifically to go to Luca's. I give it 5 stars in every category because the pizza is incredible, the service is incredible, and the location embodies the spirit of the business.
