25/05/2025: Tried recently. Really nice place, intimate and welcoming. Nice selection of books, really warm atmosphere and just the right amount of refinement.
I tried the selection of cheeses, very assorted and varied with a selection of honey, jams and mustards that were really interesting. Then I tried the turbot fillet, really well cooked and excellently accompanied by sauces and mushrooms. My partner had the culurgiones, for me they were really exquisite, delicate but with a really excellent seafood flavor.
To conclude I tried the millefoglie, in my opinion not very balanced, the mango was sacrificed by the salted caramel.
Attentive and educated service, my only negative note was the wait. An hour of waiting to start the dinner, which consisted of the selection of cheeses (not cooked) seems really excessive to me.
Fair price.
22/05/2025: Attracted by the good ratings and the many reviews.
However, it didn't go as I had hoped.
I took the tagliatelle with ragù and the cotoletta alla bolognese.
The pasta of the tagliatelle didn't seem very fresh to me and the portion was a bit small.
The cotoletta had very soft meat but the solidified cheese on top made everything a bit stringy. Which makes me think that the dish was either already ready or that it had taken too long to arrive at the table.
The part of bread and breadsticks wasn't bad. The focaccia bread was good and tasty. However, the remaining parts such as breadsticks and another type of bread were quite dry.
Total for two tagliatelle, a cotoletta, a salad, two glasses of wine, and a water: about 70/75 euros.
If the quality had been up to par, the price would have been fine. With the dishes eaten, however, the whole thing seems a bit bitter and expensive.
It may be that this is an exception and for example in the evening, given the greater turnout, the attention is greater but I could be wrong.
