We dined at Palazzetto Pisani on the 7th of July 2024, and it was an experience we can't stop raving about! The food was absolutely divine, and the view over the Grand Canal? Simply breathtaking. But the true highlight of our evening was the host, Carlo, this guy is just unbelievable. He was a star, very polite, proactive, and radiated warmth and friendliness. Don’t miss out on his special olive oil dip for your bread—it's a game-changer. We’re thrilled we stumbled upon this place; it's a true hidden gem in Venice! Worth a try... @namhla_mbawuli

We were guests of the hotel and arriving that evening, so originally I booked the restaurant for dinner with convenience in mind. However, what an extraordinary experience that truly made our stay memorable. The ambience was so comfortable and intimate - as it was midweek, we mainly had the restaurant to ourselves after the other two tables left for a concert nearby. Carlo, the member of staff who we met, made us feel so welcome and valued as guests. He made excellent recommendations and we really enjoyed everything about our meal. I can honestly say the baccalà mantecato was the BEST I had during our whole trip to Venice (and I tried it in at least two or three other places as part of cicchetti or other dishes). All of the seafood was fresh and excellent quality - I also enjoyed a shape of pasta that I had never eaten before despite many years of traveling around Italy, and it was delicious as well. If we didn't have other plans for the rest of the nights that we were in Venice, I would have so happily returned for another dinner - as it was, we just had to content ourselves with pre-dinner cocktails and bar snacks one night, as ever so capably and courteously provided by Carlo himself. I would recommend a dinner here whether you are a hotel guest or not!
