While strolling through the streets of Cagliari, we stumbled upon the Pirani restaurant. Upon entering, we were greeted by the friendly staff who helped us choose from the menu. Each dish was delicious. We were treated to sweet snacks for dessert. I highly recommend Pirani La Brasserie.

I've been there several times. The place is pleasant, and the atmosphere is relaxing both inside and out. Sometimes, however, I suffered a bit from the heat. There was a portable air conditioner inside (like a DeLonghi Pinguino), but it barely reached the back of the room at all. The waiters are friendly enough. The pastas and other dishes are good but, for me, a bit overpriced. For example, the €12 chicken club sandwich seems a bit overpriced for my tastes, especially considering that it started out (if I'm not mistaken) at €8, then quickly increased to €10, and finally to €12. All in all, though, it's a pleasant place, a pleasant break in the heart of Cagliari's historic center.

Great experience, two days in Cagliari and two dinners at Pirani. Excellent, elegant, the food is very good. The waitress was very good and kind.
