Me and my friend both came to Rome’s perfectly blends historic charm with refined Jewish cuisine. We ordered 5 dishes and Each dish celebrates tradition—especially the artichokes. Impeccable service and a superb wine list make every visit memorable. An essential Roman culinary experience. A very elegant and well-kept restaurant. Friendly waiters and delicious food. I would return! Prices are slightly above average. Try the ricotta cake, it's amazing.

Lovely restaurant on a small, traffic-free square. Authentic Roman cuisine. Good quality and excellent service. Popular with Romans. Lovely terrace. Reservations are recommended.

A delightful discovery: we had lunch in this quiet and charming little square, served with great care and attention. The menu offers a beautiful and classic selection of Roman-Jewish cuisine (the sweetbreads with artichokes were amazing, the fried fish was excellent, as was everything else we ordered). The prices are fair and appropriate for the quality and the refined yet very comfortable atmosphere.

Sat in the corner of the courtyard next to a very loud fan/AC. There was trash on the floor, which was shocking considering this was supposed to be ‘fine dining’. The table next to us was so close it was hard to enjoy our date night- you could barely pass a book between our two tables. Insane. The couple who sat next to us was equally frustrated. Food was fine. The only item that stood out to us was the agnolotti everything else was straight down the middle. Service was frustrating. We sat with our finished entrees for 20 minutes.

Un poco defilato rispetto agli altri ristoranti del ghetto. Ambiente più “su” della media della zona. Personale cortese e disponibile. Piatti cucinati molto bene. Il miglior carciofo alla giudia che abbia mangiato al ghetto. Prezzi adeguati, ma non eccessivi.

23/08/2025: We found this restaurant in the Jewish ghetto where you can enjoy artichokes. It's a particularly beautiful place, located in a historic building. The food was delicious, with a wide variety of dishes for artichoke lovers. Excellent value.

Osteria Mangiafuoco a Monteverde Vecchio

05/08/2025: Aspettative deluse per questo locale, che - sebbene di aspetto assai curato - offre cibo da osteria (con tutto rispetto) a prezzi da stellato (o quasi). La carta dei vini (unica nota distintiva) arriva su richiesta dopo l'ordinazione e il vino viene versato direttamente senza nemmeno farlo assaggiare... Personale distratto e composizione dei piatti da rivedere: nel complesso non lo consiglierei.
