A wonderful osmiza (a farm in the Karst region between Trieste and Slovenia where you can enjoy excellent cured meats and cheeses produced on-site) with plenty of seating and large tables inside, a beautiful glass-enclosed veranda (we ate here since it was January 3rd), and plenty of space outside. The ample parking is an added bonus. We sampled truly excellent cured meats and cheeses, savory strudels, and sausages in bread...all at very reasonable prices and with excellent service: everyone was very friendly, kind, and helpful, creating a relaxed and family-friendly atmosphere in a beautiful location surrounded by a lovely lawn with olive trees and farm animals. I had a great time and highly recommend it!

Ozmiza Pipan Klaric is very well-maintained and welcoming. It has ample parking, numerous tables for large groups, and is child-friendly thanks to the large surrounding garden. This place is an oasis of peace surrounded by vineyards and olive trees. The menu offers typical ozmice dishes: cooked ham, prosciutto crudo, roast pork, salami, cheeses, pickled vegetables, savory strudels, and much more. I also recommend trying their homemade elderflower syrup, which is delicious with both water and wine.

01/02/2026: Excellent at describing all the dishes, welcoming and friendly, fast service, fresh ingredients, and typical Trieste dishes with local seafood! Not for the sophisticated...closed without notice on Sunday evenings!
05/01/2026: We love to go to this place, each time we are in Trieste, we make sure we book a table (and one needs to do this ahead of time!) and eat here. The tagliere di pesce (different options of cold and hot starters of fish and seafood) is a must to try. Definitely recommend this place.
