Delicious and traditional food. The focaccia was incredible. I would recommend the pasta carbonara and amatriciana. And the pistachio dessert was delicious too.

Aesthetically very refined place a stone's throw from the Basilica of San Giovanni. Family dinner booked with TheFork. We opted for some proposals of the day presented by the very friendly staff (aubergine meatballs) and then for first courses (the lamb ragout was much appreciated) and pinse. All in excellent taste. Average bill for the area (around €30/person). We'll be back.

Good and has various choices of Roman dishes. Suitable for everyone, vegetarians or not, we felt at home and I highly recommend it

Siamo andati in 5 per un compleanno. Nonostante a prenotazione ci hanno messo in un tavolo da 4 e 3 di noi siamo alti intorno a cm 190! Cibo buono,cucina romanesca, ma saltinbocca con carne dura. Costo elevato. Locale turistico.

Finally I found a good Italian restaurant. The pizza was thin crust and not soggy. Insalata mixta was really nice just with olive oil but a good olive oil you don't need more when it's good. Tartino di pistachio and Matteo we're delicious. I highly recommend this place.

Locale facilmente raggiungibile grazie alla sua posizione in centro ed a due passi dalla Basilica di San Giovanni. Oltre che dentro al locale vero e proprio si può mangiare anche all’esterno… se il tempo lo permette. Il personale che vi riceve è molto cortese e professionale e sa consigliare al meglio la vostra esperienza culinaria. Il menù si rifà alla tradizione romana con qualche piccola variazione ma sicuramente con ottime materia prime e buona capacità nella preparazione delle pietanze. La lista dei vini è ampia e ben assortita tanto da soddisfare anche i palati più fini. La spesa si attesta nella media per locali di questa tipologia. In conclusione penso che ci ritornerò volentieri.

27/05/2025: Everyone in our party of 9 enjoyed an excellent meal here at Piccolo Mondo. It was all perfect from the moment we stepped in. And Mito our server was very professional and patient answering our many questions about the various dishes. We will definitely stop back here on our next trip to Rome.

01/06/2025: Truly a pleasant experience. I had lunch inside, (but there are also tables outside) to be able to talk with Simone, the owner of the restaurant together with his mother. I tasted a fair and balanced carbonara. One day you find rigattone and one day spaghetti decides the identity of the chef Everything becomes fantastic with the indication of a red wine from Montefalco to pair with the dishes of the day. In addition to quality, in this restaurant I also found culture. Finally, they proposed a typical citrus bitter of great class that I applauded.
27/05/2025: Roman tavern with good food. Maybe not much choice.
