Pinochio In Viareggio

Among the Viareggio clubs, I think it's one of the best, great quality, simple place like it used to be

The two of us went for lunch on Sunday. We had two maltagliati with scampi and two pan-fried Pino pasta dishes. I have to say, both were delicious. The price isn't cheap, but it reflects the quality and deliciousness of the food. I'll definitely be back.

Let me start by saying that we woke up last minute on Saturday for six people, and they were very kind to welcome us. We ordered various dishes, including appetizers, first courses, and fried food. As for the first courses, they were very good and well-portioned. The appetizers were a bit disappointing: although the ingredients are of the highest quality, for the price, I think they were poorly presented (I'd never had a raw ham without even an oyster, even though the ingredients were listed beforehand), lacking the visual harmony and accompaniment that such a royal dish deserves. Personally, I would have preferred a minimal description of the dish, which wasn't provided. I didn't like the dessert, but I probably also made a poor choice. No offense intended, but I hope this is taken as constructive criticism. I can't give more than 3 stars; we had higher expectations, but thanks anyway.
