I stopped by chance with my daughter for breakfast. Excellent coffee, more than excellent homemade pear and chocolate cake, very comfortable retro style environment. Clean bathroom with a wonderful smell of Marseille soap. And last, but not least, the manager: kind, smiling, helpful. You can't ask for more.

What I'm about to write is not a review, but more of a reflection.
I had already seen this place on television a few years ago, on the Cannavacciuolo programme.
I admit that their Milanese cuisine with Sardinian origins and influences seems interesting.
On a human and professional level, I couldn't be happier for them.
Their restaurant has indeed improved and their business is good.
Strange that they only open for lunch, but the important thing is that things go well.
Personally, however, I'm not crazy about gender initiatives.
I mean: work environments with people belonging to only one gender, going out with people belonging to only one gender, friendship groups with people belonging to only one gender, gyms with people belonging to only one gender, etc.
However, I don't believe that these girls' restaurant was created with the intention of excluding the male gender.
If I remember correctly, their idea came from the grandmother of the owner Natasha and her sister Katiusha.
The main idea was to offer customers grandmother's cooking, which is a great thing.
Quite simply, I think they chose a staff of acquaintances and they were coincidentally all women and from there the concept was born.
I also believe that they are not dull people and therefore one day they might decide to add male people to the staff.
I don't know if they are still the owners, but the argument is still valid.
I personally am of the opinion that, as I have already said in other reviews, there must be mixed environments in every context, without "ghettoizing" yourself with people of your own gender.
To find out more completely about how I see gender equality, just go and read the reviews of the places I listed in the review-reflection on "Winning Women Institute".
Having said that, I make a reflection on table service in restaurants in general.
Personally, I don't agree with the now anachronistic rules of "fine dining", which require customers seated at the same table to be served first or last based on their gender.
Personally, I find this incorrect.
We need fairer criteria, such as the "position number", so follow the numerical order.
It's about time the places that do "fine dining" understood this too.
They must understand that men and women are equal and there is no need for precedence or to reserve "special" treatments based on gender, such as hiding wine prices from female customers, etc.
This is just food for thought about restaurants in general, of course.
As I always say: "People First, and no matter what gender you belong to!".
In fact, having not been to the place, I cannot judge their work specifically.
One thing I know for sure is that they welcome both women and men as customers in their restaurant and that is already a great thing.
To take that extra step, in my opinion, they should also do the same thing among the staff, so as to promote greater inclusiveness and gender equality.
The name "Pink" would still be fine, because pink is not an exclusively feminine color.
I want to point out that this is absolutely not an attack, but is just meant to be food for thought.
In fact, I believe that they are intelligent and capable people and that this reflection of mine can, in some way, provide food for thought on society in general.
I don't want to be rude or disrespectful in any way, of course.
Then I have absolute respect for their craft and their effort, regardless of the genre they belong to.
And I really hope that the Italian State decides to lower taxes, because otherwise restaurateurs will be forced to raise prices.
Furthermore, I hope that one day we will achieve equal pay for everyone.
Long live gender equality!🥳

All-female restaurant bar during lunch break. Good food and variety of choice. Some very interesting dishes such as the vegan burger. Overall the burgers are very good. The salads and other lunch break dishes are also of a good standard.
In summer there is the possibility (limited by space) of eating outdoors.
Against the internal environment on the street level very, very small. The largest room on the underground floor but unfortunately in 3 seasons out of 4 you can smell a lot of mold so it is not very pleasant and for some reason it is very noisy when there are many people both due to the absolute lack of any means of noise absorption or chicchericcio is because I think there is also some "rumbling" that amplifies the voices in some way.
To improve the organization to pay the bill, a long and uncomfortable queue always forms, hindering both the waitresses and the customers themselves, perhaps 2 tills instead of 1 at least at lunch would be better.
