Pimm's In Tropea

A very good choice in Tropea. We ate very well, especially the salt-baked sea bass, which was spectacular. Friendly service. Exceptional dining room with sea views. Very good!

We chose the restaurant because of its atmosphere and menu. When we made our reservation, we were informed that two dishes per person were required. Nothing further was explained. A menu with prices was posted at the entrance. When we ordered, we were told that the price was €60 per person for a starter and main course. Dessert did not count as a meal. The wine we chose was not available. We were not even given a complimentary bottle of wine. The service was utterly dismal. The food was very tasty, but not worth the price. The overall experience with service and treatment was disappointing.

The red shrimp tartare with mango gel, burrata, and Bronte pistachio is an explosion of freshness, presented like a little gem. Among the first courses, the intense and creamy red shrimp ravioli stand out, as do the mezzé paccheri with baby squid, characterized by their delicate, Mediterranean aromas. The price is in line with the quality offered: not cheap, but fully justified by the freshness of the fish and the excellence of the preparation. In short, a restaurant worth visiting not only for seafood lovers, but also for those seeking a high-quality culinary experience, where technique and passion blend together to create dishes destined to remain etched in the memory.

This is an excellent charming restaurant run by a super king family. Food is premium class, ask for a beef tartare with an egg yolk or a delicious fish fresh daily from catch in the morning. Especially when nice the breathtaking million dollar view on a cliff onto a vista of the turquoise sea below. A must the best restaurant romantic and super friendly family staff running the place since many years. Can’t miss it, 4 decades of maintaining excellence.

We dined in the ziti window for a special occasion. Valentina, the head waiter, was professional, the waiters were equally professional, and the chef was excellent. I must say that everything was impeccable and perfect. It will undoubtedly be our favorite place. See you soon.

Highly recommended, impeccable service, super fresh fish, and great customer service. The menu is balanced and features refined, authentic flavors. I came with my girlfriend, who doesn't normally eat fish, but at Pimm's she ate everything. The dessert was exquisite, and the location and view were truly stunning.

Siamo state a pranzo in questo locale domenica e siamo rimaste entusiaste! Il pesce era freschissimo e cucinato con grande cura. Siamo state accolte con calore da Franco, il titolare, che ci ha subito fatte sentire a casa. Lo chef, suo figlio, ha preparato per noi un percorso di quattro portate, venendo incontro alle nostre richieste con molta gentilezza. Ci ha anche spiegato ogni piatto nel dettaglio, trasmettendo tutta la passione che mettono nel loro lavoro. La conduzione familiare si percepisce in ogni dettaglio: qui si cucina con amore. Tutto davvero buonissimo, ma una menzione speciale va alla pasta ai ricci di mare: semplicemente spettacolare. PS che dire della vista? A strapiombo sul mare! Tornare sempre dove non delude mai! Il ristorante con l’affaccio più bello Di Tropea non ha eguali, la degustazione dello chef Carmine è un turbinio di sapori accompagnati da un buon vino! Noi torniamo ogni anno e ogni volta è una conferma! Per equilibrare i sapori ci vuole scienza e loro ce l’hanno! BRAVI
