Google review score in my opinion is accurate. Friendly service, what I don't like is that we were asked if we wanna have more bread and answered "no", nevertheless they brought more bread - why? The food gets an ok and isn't a highlight. One of the worst polenta dishes I've ever eaten, disappointing. Aperol Spritz tasted good.

We had pasta and pizza. Food had medium quality as well as the service. Prices are reasonable but you can get better quality around the corner for the same price. There is some non-explained charge for every person - unrelated to the full price - that added up to 10€ for a party of four. So all in all a rather disappointing experience

27/06/2025: I stopped in an hour early before they opened not knowing they were not open yet. The hospitality was incredible! They seated us 10 minutes later and served excellent food and drinks. After dinner I flew back to Texas wishing I knew about this place when I first arrived in Italy. It was the BEST food I had during my trip. Excellent job Pepe Nero!
13/06/2025: I think the taste of this restaurant is good enough to be listed in the Best in Bistrot Michelin recommended restaurant!

09/11/2025: My family and I visited this restaurant on a Saturday evening in early November. The restaurant is in a truly picturesque location, right behind the fish market, accessible via a picturesque little bridge. The atmosphere is welcoming and authentic, and the service is impeccable: the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive to detail. The cuisine is excellent, with well-crafted dishes and quality ingredients. Everything is delicious, but special mention goes to the appetizers and desserts. The prices are in line with the Venetian average. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic Venetian experience, far from the typical "tourist trap" restaurants.
