This is our third time at this simply excellent restaurant. The owner is exceptional and extremely friendly. Everything was excellent, the seafood was exceptional.

Exceptional experience. Superb food, fresh fish, expertly cooked dishes. Generous portions, well-seasoned, perhaps a little heavy, but true to the Campania tradition. Prices are more than fair. Efficient service and minimal wait times. What more could you ask for? Definitely worth remembering for future visits to Pavia. We had a mixed antipasto, limited variety but very good, spaghetti and calamarata, fantastic.

Today for lunch we went to this pizzeria and had 2 tagliolini with prawns and courgettes, a ravioli for the little one, a mixed fried fish, a penne with garu, a grilled slice, two desserts, excellent food, balanced quality/price, I highly recommend it.

This is the restaurant where I've eaten the best ever. The fish is incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection. The appetizers are unique, and the scialatielli are perfect. If you want raw fish, you have to order it the day before, which tells you the quality is high. The prices are reasonable. The place is small, so reservations are recommended. The owner is helpful and very kind, and the house liqueurs (limoncello and meloncello) are excellent. Truly superb!

The staff (and the owner) is very courteous and makes sure everything runs smoothly. As a true Neapolitan, he cares about his customers' enjoyment, and there's no arguing about that. The dishes are good, plentiful, and at very fair prices. I would honestly work more on the presentation to showcase the ingredients, but the flavor is there anyway. A dinner at a friend's house—that's what Piedigrotta feels like: friendly service and excellent service. If you want to spend an evening enjoying good food, fine. If you want a more intimate or classy dinner, then look elsewhere, but I don't think that's Piedigrotta's intent.
