A nice, modern place. Friendly staff, good food, though service was a bit slow. The appetizers arrived almost immediately, but we had to wait almost two hours for the pizzas.

Elegant yet understated location, the staff is friendly and available to clarify the menu. Excellent pizza, made with a variety of flours. The Catalan pizza is good. Recommended.

We stumbled upon it by chance and were treated wonderfully and had a delicious platter. We even saw the procession and the butteri—what more could you ask for?

Sale Grosso At Piazza del Mercato 12, Grosseto Good food, central location, unfortunately charged twice for a portion of pasta (accidentally or intentionally?). Unfortunately, I checked the bill too late! The meat came rare, but it was no problem to have it cooked medium again – the service was very polite. (Takliata) Picci very, very tasty. Pasta is homemade. Average price/performance ratio Tortelli excellent with ragu Vedura grigliate a bit bland

09/11/2025: We made a very late reservation on a Saturday evening; there were nine of us, then three more joined us, and although the restaurant was more than full, the owner somehow managed to find extra chairs. The service was incredibly friendly, and the food was fabulous. The price was more than reasonable. Thank you so much, you saved our evening!
07/11/2025: Food, simple. You can have better food at the same price in some other places at Castigliano.

13/09/2025: We happened upon Porto Ercole by chance and had lunch at Gambero Rosso. Nice place with a sea view. Two first courses and two desserts with half a liter of wine. €90, too expensive in my opinion.
