This old-fashioned trattoria is here in Cerreto. Everything is just as you'd expect from a mountain trattoria, from the decor to the food to the warm staff! In short, perfect. We had a cheese platter, all delicious, and even the onion jam. The malfatti were fresh and well-seasoned, not heavy. I recommend booking, the prices are fair!

Rustic yet pleasant and welcoming. The dishes are in line with the prices offered. A positive experience, except that, having requested a business lunch on a weekday, we were denied it, citing internal organizational reasons for menu management. In my opinion, a blatant lie just to collect a few extra euros, so much so that a couple who arrived after us were served instead. To further prove this, I called back a few days later and specifically asked if they did business lunches, and the answer was yes, so...????

Today my son and I had lunch (a business lunch) at this cozy trattoria. A lovely little place reminiscent of times gone by, with a warm welcome from a kind lady who also served us with thoughtfulness and courtesy, reminiscent of a family atmosphere. The excellent dishes were served with a touch of care and attention, surprising for a business lunch. We also sampled the homemade desserts and thoroughly enjoyed them. Lunch at Trattoria Cerreto was the icing on the cake of a pleasant day spent in the mountains with my son. Thank you, and see you next time.

We ate from appetizer to dessert, and everything was delicious, as was the service.
I'm celiac, and I had pasta alla bagossa and pasta with wild boar ragù, both delicious.
