Excellent location, excellent lunch.

The Michelin star goes first of all to Renzo Piano and the location, probably unique in the world. I invite you to go to this place that combines the beauty of the Alps, that of Turin, that of heights, that of Architecture and that of the walk at approximately 150 meters above sea level among ornamental plants and views that cheer the soul. In the restaurant, the dishes are a mix of traditional and contemporary, with the famous do-it-yourself carbonara and a slightly bizarre boxed menu but which commercially also allows very cheap menus for a starred restaurant. The service wins attention and the wine list is consistent with expectations. The food is consistent with Piedmont and rich like a French interpretation of local dishes: perhaps a little less fat wouldn't hurt, we're on the fence.

Super environment. The garden in the skyscraper is gorgeous. The view too. Minimal and elegant furnishings. Young and truly trained staff, not too formal. The dishes are excellent. Terramadre is a vegetal experience worth trying. Very high quality, complex preparations. The risotto may be slightly salty, but overall we are at very high levels. Apart from the Muscadet which I found not very incisive, the choice of wines is excellent, the quantities abundant. (Be careful not to drive afterwards.) An experience.

The service and location eclipsed the food. Mistakes with salt and lukewarm, almost cold dishes. Very serious errors if we think of the large number of personnel and related tasks Some dishes were successful, others much less so. Prices in line with the context.

Place of the heart. Very good Roman-style pizza.

The experience is definitely worth it. The structure is very beautiful and certainly particular for a city like Turin. The service is professional, courteous and present - perhaps a little too much at times. Excellent wine. The food in our case did not inspire enthusiasm: one dish was very salty, the other two were nothing special. Very good desserts, perhaps the best part. Just a suggestion: given the quality of the place, a tablecloth - or at least a placemat - would be appropriate....
