Piadineria la Caveja In Udine

I often come to this piadineria and have always had a great experience. The piadinas are truly delicious, you can taste their artisanal flavor, and the service is always friendly, even when the place is busy. It's not a full-service restaurant, but a piadineria: you come here specifically to eat Romagna piadinas and simple, well-made dishes. The atmosphere is simple and informal, and I've always found it well-kept and comfortable. I've even been welcomed by a little dog, which adds to the family atmosphere. It's one of those places you'll want to go to and come back to again!

Very friendly service. You can tell the lady is trying. The food is good, but you won't find traditional Italian cuisine here. The place looks nice, but the restroom doors are terrible. Plus, there was a dog wandering around the place.

A wide variety of piadinas, burgers, fries, and desserts. The piadina doughs are excellent and unique, the ingredients are high-quality, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. If you're passing through Udine, it's definitely worth a visit!

I stopped and was surprised to find a GLUTEN-FREE piadina. What can I say? For a celiac, it's always a joy to find gluten-free options, and it was really good. I had the one with spicy salami. It had a lovely filling, and the dough was good and elastic (commercial gluten-free piadinas are often dry and not at all elastic). Congratulations! Highly recommended for those following a gluten-free diet (and those who don't, of course).

I stopped in for a piadina with sausages and fries. The place is cozy, the owner is super kind and very professional, and the quality of the food is excellent in my opinion. I was very pleased. I will definitely be back.
