Piaciri In Grammichele

The location is very charming, overlooking the iconic hexagonal square, the pride of Grammichele. Inside, the restaurant is simple, yet elegant and discreet, as it's quiet. The food and presentation are meticulously crafted with passion, and the ingredients are top-quality. As for the pizzas, they're the best you'll find in the Calatino area. Tasty and easy to digest, the dough is exceptional, and the ingredients are top-notch. Highly recommended!

We ate in this restaurant on a Thursday evening... Super good, fine, gourmet cuisine, the owner is adorable, passionate about his job as a restaurateur and cook. He made it a point of honor to make us eat good things... We went back there this evening, we did not see the owner. While last night we had announced our arrival the next day, it was only possible to have a small table for four outside, we suggested having the same table as the day before, impossible... We asked to eat inside, impossible. We chose to leave the establishment. The staff jumped out and told us that they were seeing what could be done. But too late, very disappointed our decision was made... We went to eat elsewhere. This is the reason for removing a star on the service. But again thank you to the owner for the welcome the day before, it was a great evening.

Every time I visit this restaurant, I'm always impressed by Chef Tommaso's expertise. Each dish is a small work of art, meticulously crafted and perfectly balanced between tradition and creativity. The quality of the ingredients is evident from the first bite, and the menu reflects a profound passion for cooking.

The location is a plus. Grammichele's main square is an enviable calling card. The dishes we tasted, from meat to fish, were delicious. The ingredients used are certainly high-quality. Unfortunately, the wait was exhausting. The prices are exorbitant; I understand the general increase in the cost of living, and I understand the quality of the ingredients, but I think they're too high.

We stopped by when the entire town was on hiatus due to a large Festa the night before. We had a 5 month old baby with us and we're all tired and starving. The owner, even though they were closed opened the kitchen and fed the five of us the most incredible meal ever. 5 courses, fabulous wine and dolce, all made beautifully and from the goodness of his heart. Unforgettable experience! The Canadian stragglers are forever fans and supporters of Piaciri!!!

We had a particularly pleasant and unexpected evening here. We had a lot of trouble finding a suitable restaurant in Grammichele, so we were very happy to stop here. The owner was particularly kind to us, and the food was truly outstanding. The term "pizzeria" is a misleading description; you can really get good food here!

The delicacy of the food served here is beyond words. Beautiful place and very personal service. If in Grammichele this is the place to eat!

Excellent meal here. The chef came to our table (indeed all the tables) and talked us through the menu, his recommendations and off-menu dishes he was able to prepare for us. We had a selection from across the different menus - pizza and calzone where thin, crisp and flavoursome. La Norma pasta dish - a regional speciality made with tomato and aubergine gave us all plate-envy and my partner had the seared tuna which was the best he’d ever had. We arrived early and the place was empty which makes you wonder if you have made the right choice - don’t worry, you have and by 10pm the place full.
