Excellent pizza, very friendly and knowledgeable staff, very welcoming atmosphere. I'll be back.

The place is nice, and I didn't have any parking problems, although I think I was lucky. Unfortunately, the pizzeria is very noisy due to customer chatter, and the seating is really cramped. The pizza is good but not exceptional, very thin, and the crust crumbles because it's a bit toasty, so it needs to be thrown away. The real problem is that they rotate tables, but they tell you this clearly even when you book. However, it's still not nice to be pressured by the staff to free up your table, especially since it's not always the customer's fault if the service takes longer. In any case, it's important to be aware of this and plan accordingly. Personally, since I see a night out as a time not only to eat but also to spend time with friends, next time I'll opt for another place that makes me less anxious. One last unfortunate note: the bathroom can't be the same for everyone; we know how men make toilets dirty, and that's not fair to women. The anteroom had two sinks, both of which didn't work; that's not good. I gave it three stars which means it's good even if in the end I didn't like it (2 stars), if you really want to go there try midweek, maybe it's better.

The best pizza I’ve ever had. In the summer of 2024, my family and I traveled to Polignano a Mare on our way from Milan to Sicily. We stayed in Bitritto for a few days and Petite Roi Ristorante Pizzeria was recommended for us to try. This is a strong claim but 100% honest when I say that this is the best pizza I’ve had in my 50 years on this planet. We got one pizza and devoured it in a few short minutes and then rushed back before they closed for two more pizzas. I was born in Italy and raised in Puerto Rico and I live in the U.S.A. I travel to Italy every year. I have tried pizzas that have been award-winning pizzas as well as praised ones from Naples, Sicily, New York, New Jersey, New Haven (Connecticut), and many others. When asked about my favorite pizza, this is hands down my favorite. Simplicity has been the key in many of the best recipes and these guys nail it. All these “Best Pizza in the World” lists mean nothing unless they try every pizza that’s out there including those in small towns. If you’re nearby to Bitritto, and even if you’re not nearby to Bitritto, do what you can to get to Petit Roi and see if I’m right.
