Pesto di Pistacchio In Trani

One of my favorite restaurants in the area. My family and I frequent it even though we're not vegan. We've been back several times, and it always lives up to our expectations. I recommend the mixed appetizers if you're a party of three or more, because there's so much to choose from. My favorite first course is always the pistachio pesto. Last time, we tried an exceptional off-menu first course recommended by the owner, who knows how to deal with customers.

I'm sorry I can't give this place more than 3 stars. We went for lunch, but it didn't fully meet our expectations. The appetizers (we ordered a mix to try everything) were delicious, especially the tacos. The linguine with pistachio pesto was nothing special, and the eggplant parmigiana left much to be desired (bland and with very little eggplant. It didn't taste like parmigiana). The dessert was particularly disappointing. I asked the waitress what the mango mousse was like, and she told me it had a biscuit base (not present in the dessert) and a mango mousse, which turned out to be cream. There were few staff to manage the indoor and outdoor dining areas, disorganization, and long waits (one diner ate lunch alone because he received his dish 15 minutes after the others), perhaps due to the Sunday crowds.

We had dinner at this restaurant, and I have to admit that, of all the vegan restaurants I've tried, this one is at the top of my list. Since there were five of us, we shared several dishes, so we could try a little bit of everything. Definitely try the stuffed potato croquettes and the stuffed tacos, both superb! The tacos in particular are truly exceptional. We then ordered first and second courses, all very good, with a special mention for the vegan parmigiana, which was a very pleasant surprise. I highly recommend it!

What can I say? As a vegetarian, I found this place to be superb. Every dish has an intense flavour, a dream for the palate. I recommend this magical place to everyone.

I ate here about 10 years ago. It was a great experience, for vegans and non-vegans alike. We even got a 40% discount with the The Fork app. I'd definitely recommend it again.

A really great restaurant! The fact that it's vegan is, all things considered, a minor detail: it's delicious (the linguine with pistachio pesto is incredible), very beautiful, and on top of that, the welcome is very warm.

It's New Year's Eve, and we unexpectedly found ourselves staying in Trani and therefore having to dine. We were fortunate enough to enjoy four courses from the traditional "Pistachio Pesto" takeout menu, which the owner was kind enough to prepare for us despite the restaurant being already full and the kitchen being busy with the traditional New Year's Eve dinner menu. The kindness of the staff, the well-balanced prices, and their courtesy are just a small compliment to the delicious food, prepared with such care by the kitchen staff.
