Excellent seafood at fair prices.
The menu for this sunny Sunday lunch included an appetizer of violets, tagliatelle, and raw octopus. This was followed by a delicious cavatello with mixed seafood, expertly prepared by our kitchen wizard Donatella. To finish, a flavorful sea bass al frono, gracefully filleted and served with a dusting of breadcrumbs.
And when the bill reached 100 euros, we were honored with an excellent rosé wine, which we enjoyed and sipped with the whole company, toasting to Grandpa.
It was a Sunday that tasted of the sea, where every bite tasted of happiness.

We spent €125 for two glasses of prosecco and a main course (as you can see from the photo, the portions were quite small). The final bill seemed frankly disproportionate to the amount offered.
The quality is there, but there are other good options in the area where you can spend less for a similar, if not greater, amount.
The feeling is that the focus is on immediate profit rather than customer loyalty: "Better an egg today than a hen tomorrow," as they say.

I went there a few days ago with my partner for the famous seafood aperitif, which ended up costing us 74 euros! Our aperitif included 4 oysters, 10 mussels, 2 scampi, 4 red prawns, 4 whole apulias, some tuna and salmon carpaccio, a plate of crostini, and two spritzes. Of course, everything was delicious, except for the apulias, which I had to clean myself! However, the price was definitely exorbitant for the 12 pieces we ate! For 35 euros per pass each, we could have had dinner instead of an aperitif! Then we bought a 600-gram sea bream, which was filleted for us, and when we got home we weighed the fillets, which were barely 250 grams! So there was a 350-gram waste, more than half the total weight (I've read that the average waste estimate is between 30% and 50% of the total weight), and obviously we paid for it in full. I was excited to go because I'd already been there once, also for the seafood aperitivo, and I had excellent memories of it for the quality-price ratio, but after this terrible experience, we won't be back! I gave it three stars because the quality is undoubtedly there, but how much we spent is insane!

Since I moved to Bari in September 2024, this fish shop, these guys, and the owner, Vito, have been my only point of contact. It was recommended to me by the fish shop I used to go to in Locorotondo, and I wanted to try it... I respect you for the work you do, how you do it, and the quality you offer! The continuous filtration system, for those who understand and love raw fish like my brother-in-law and I, is another important addition!!!
We were here a few weeks ago for a very expensive raw fish aperitif.
I think our face is worth more than 1,000 words!!!

Fresh products and a good choice of variety. The refreshment point inside is very pleasant, where you can choose directly from the display counter what you want to eat raw, they prepare it for you and serve it all accompanied by a choice of good wines.
