Pescheria da Gennarino con Cottura In Rossano

At the last minute we looked for a nice place to eat something different at midday. Among the first possibilities appeared "gennarino". I have to say it was a great choice. Good and well cooked fish. So we avoided the usual pizza and/or sandwich.

Ci sono stata il 5 con le mie sorelle. Ottima ospitalità sia della titolare che del cameriere Antonio. Quest ultimo molto attento e preparato sui piatti che serviva. Noi abbiamo pranzato con antipasti caldi e freddi e delle ottime e croccanti fritture di paranza. So già che ci ritornerò e invito anche Sto arrivando! Chi si trova da quelle parti ad andarci. Premetto che è stata la prima volta che ho messo piede in questo locale e fin da subito siamo stati accolti dal personale con garbo e gentilezza. Ci è stata offerta la possibilità di ordinare il menù del giorno oppure da quello alla carta. Il locale è pulito e luminoso, posto subito al di fuori della pescheria, il cibo è ottimo e le porzioni sono abbondanti. Siamo rimasti veramente soddisfatti, sicuramente lo consiglieremmo e torneremo molto volentieri!

The restaurant where we had dinner was a pleasant surprise. We went with friends and decided to order fish dishes: a more than right choice. Each course, from the first course to the second course, up to the side dishes, was not only plentiful, but also delicious. The flavors were fresh and well balanced, a sign of quality ingredients and a kitchen that knows its stuff. The only sore point was the service. Unfortunately, the waiter seemed inexperienced, and the service was rather slow. However, these are inconveniences that can happen, especially when the cuisine is this good. Furthermore, the final price was truly surprising: excellent value for money which makes this restaurant an option I would definitely recommend.
