When I arrived at this restaurant, nestled between the warehouses of an industrial area, I thought I had come to the wrong place. Instead, once I crossed the threshold, I found myself in fish heaven.
Milan, with its fish market, offers the city the excellence of its catch, and this quality is clearly perceived in the dishes served.
The restaurant works with a self-service formula: the customer is given a name (we were "Paguro"), you fill out the paper menu at the table and hand it over to the cashier to order appetizers and first courses. When the dish is ready, the name is announced and you have to go and collect it. The system is nice, but with so many people it can become a bit chaotic, especially if you don't pay attention or if you have to slalom between the other customers.
Let's move on to the fish: a counter of very fresh raw materials welcomes customers, and everything is incredibly inviting. We tried the tuna tartare, the best I've ever eaten, the tuna with onions and 'nduja, an unusual but successful combination, and the marinated salmon, good, but the dish that convinced us the least.
For the first course, we shared a spectacular rice with lime, pecorino cream and red shrimp tartare, all blended with a very tasty fish broth. This rice also earns the title of best fish risotto I've ever tried.
For the second courses, you order directly at the fish counter, choosing between grilled and fried. I had octopus, cuttlefish, tuna and shrimp: all incredibly tasty. The octopus, my favorite dish of the evening, was so soft that it melted in your mouth.
Since it's fresh fish, the prices are inevitably higher. We ate abundantly and, with four glasses of wine, we spent 74 euros. A more than deserved amount: I left without any regrets.
I highly recommend this place, a true hidden gem. I recommend booking and arriving early or towards the end of service. Even though it was Wednesday, the place filled up around 9pm, making self-service management more complicated.

Very informal place where you serve yourself and go get the food. This has an impact on the bill which is lower than average. Fresh and tasty fish. You can decide on the second courses directly from the fresh fish counter.

Excellent quantity/price, the quality is good but nothing special. The method of collecting the order, considering the noise in the room, in my opinion can be improved. I happened to not receive the starters which were evidently taken by someone else...situation promptly resolved by the guys at the counter, very kind and helpful.

Scelto su consiglio di amici che frequentano da tempo il locale....scelta più che azzeccata!!! Ottime e varie le proposte in carta e grande varietà al bancone per tartare, fritto, griglia ecc. Ampia scelta di etichette dalla lista dei vini. Piacevoli idessert. Locale da frequentare....
