Pescecane In Lipari

Excellent experience, perhaps a little expensive... But everything was very good and the friendliness of the managers is priceless.

The food would be good and entering the bathroom is a unique experience. Problem: the tasting still left a bad taste in my mouth. We ordered the catch of the day, asking in advance how many ounces it was per portion: the waiter had told us that it would be more or less one and a half ounces each, but instead it was more than double; on prices that are based on the cost per hectogram, it seemed to me to be in bad taste not to notify the customer of such a large change. Also for the service: we had to ask for the bread because it hadn't been given to us at the table even after the first one arrived. Good food, mediocre service, decent location.

As a part of our Sicily trip, we went to lipary for a couple of days. We selected the restaurants very random & landed on may be one of the best restaurants and pizzeria in Lipary. The spaghetti was one of the best I ever tried. Antipasti was also good. People take a lot of take aways probably because of their price range and taste. We didn’t try the pizza though. We met some cool people as well and ended up chilling till closing . They gave us shots at the end just to remind they are waiting for us to leave sothat they can close. 😀

located on the main street of Lipari, the place is characteristic, friendly and qualified staff also ready to recommend typical Aeolian dishes, the dishes are served with care and above all an explosion of taste given by the fresh and local products, I will definitely return.
